Peruvian law firm Sumara Hub Legal has announced the opening of its first office in Dubai. The new base will enable the company to bring Latin America-based entrepreneurs and investors closer to the UAE market and vice versa.
Founded in 2018, Sumara Hub delivers legal advice across many practice areas, including startups and venture capital, fintech, capital market transactions, banking and finance, investment funds and trusts, as well as blockchain, crypto economics, and social enterprises.
In addition to its offices in Peru’s capital Lima and Dubai, the fintech-focused firm maintains alliances with several law firms, allowing it to serve clients in additional jurisdictions.
Among the firms with which Sumara Hub has an alliance are Next Legal in the US, Díaz Bradford Ortiz in Colombia, Velo Legal in Panama, and Legal Paradox in Mexico.
The firm’s office in Dubai is in Jebel Ali Free Zone, a global logistics hub and the world’s largest free trade zone, home to more than 8,700 businesses sustaining 135,000 jobs.
