HBI opens a branch office in Dubai

France-based freight forwarder HBI has announced the opening of a new branch in Dubai. The office will support HBI’s customers with their shipments from and to the UAE and the Middle East region.

As a transport organizer, HBI works with a pool of partners that represent it in key global ports. The company has four branches in France located at the major French ports and airports. Internationally, it also has offices in Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, Turkey, Senegal, Ivory Coast, and the United States.

Founded in 1987, HBI has developed logistics expertise in industries including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, steel, food, perishable goods, building materials, paper, and furniture. The company uses several logistics platforms, transportation management systems, and warehouse management systems. It recently partnered with Vector.ai to adopt its freight automation platform to enhance the HBI IT ecosystem.

HBI has set up its Dubai office in Jebel Ali Free Zone, a global logistics hub and the world’s largest free trade zone, home to more than 8,700 businesses sustaining 135,000 jobs.
