Amdocs expands to Dubai

New premises to serve as a base for regional operations

Amdocs, a provider of software and services to communications and media companies globally, has opened its first UAE office in Dubai.

Amdocs, which has 30,000 employees around the world, works with service providers to accelerate their migration to the cloud, enabling them to digitalize and automate their operations. Among its 350 clients are AT&T, T-Mobile, Vodafone, and Singtel.

Listed on the NASDAQ Global Select Market, Amdocs had revenue of USD 4.3 billion in fiscal 2021 and in the second quarter of fiscal 2022 reported quarterly revenues of USD 1.15 billion.

The new premises in Dubai Media City will serve as a base for Amdocs’ operations across the Gulf. The company will work with the region’s operators to help them capitalize on the arrival of standalone 5G by developing and monetizing new products and services for their customers.

The launch of Amdocs’ UAE office follows the company’s recent participation in Telecoms World Middle East 2022 in Dubai.

Dubai Media City is a tax-free zone launched in 2001 that hosts some of the world’s largest global and local media brands.
