Credit rating firm Moody’s is relocating its Moscow staff to its offices in Dubai and other cities after deciding to formally shut its office in Russia’s capital.
Moody’s Investors Service (MIS) has been operating in Dubai since 2012, while Moody’s Analytics was established in the city in 2008. Both offices are located at the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC), which is home to the region’s largest financial ecosystem, with more than 3,644 registered companies.
MIS is the bond credit rating business of Moody's Corporation, representing the company's traditional line of business, whereas Moody's Analytics provides financial intelligence and analytical tools.
Moody’s Analytics serves more than 130 institutions in the UAE with enterprise risk and credit research solutions. It will continue to provide research and commentary on the wider credit and economic impact caused by the invasion of Ukraine.
