Salmon Guru opens at ME Dubai

UAE-based food and beverage operator Elements Hospitality has announced the launch of Salmon Guru in Dubai. The Spanish boutique cocktail bar has opened in the ME Dubai hotel in Business Bay, a central business district that lies on the Dubai Canal waterway.

Known for its quirky drinks, adventurous food, and relaxed atmosphere, Salmon Guru’s concept aims to fulfill the increasing demand for out-of-the-ordinary hospitality experiences in the UAE.

Ranked within the World’s 50 Best Bars for five years in a row, the venue combines three vibes: a 60s-inspired tropical section, an Asian night market, and a comic book-themed area. Interiors include neon lights, wildly colored furniture, and glowing red paper lanterns.

The cocktail bar’s signature drinks are served in customized glassware that resembles tree frogs, glow-in-the-dark lotus flowers, dragons, and fish, among other eccentric designs.

Salmon Guru was founded in Madrid in 2017 and its expansion into Dubai marks the brand’s first location outside Spain. The new outpost is located at the ME Dubai hotel at The Opus by Omniyat, an architectural landmark designed by Zaha Hadid.

Dubai is home to around 12,000 restaurants and cafés – from homegrown eateries and neighborhood cafés to fine-dining and gourmet establishments, which together represent the city’s internationally recognized food and beverage scene.
