Dwell opens store on Palm Jumeirah

Dwell, a British home decor and furniture brand, has expanded further in the region with the opening of a new store at Nakheel Mall in Dubai. This is the brand’s seventh location in Dubai and 23rd in the Gulf region.

Located at the heart of the Palm Jumeirah, Nakheel Mall offers more than 300 shops, restaurants, and entertainment outlets spread over five floors. The AED 1.2 billion (USD 330 million) destination caters to the island’s 25,000 residents, and the wider Dubai community, and is a new attraction for the millions of tourists who visit Dubai each year.

Dwell’s new store at Nakheel Mall features bedding, bath linens, and home decor accessories as well as collections from international home brands, including interiors brand Sanderson and luxury bedding brands Punto, Joules, and Gant Home.

Founded in 2003, Dwell specializes in contemporary furniture, lighting, and home accessories. The company was acquired in 2014 by UK-based furniture retailer DFS.

In the UAE, Dwell is operated by Liwa Trading Enterprises, which was set up in 1987 and has a retail franchise portfolio of 20 international brands and over 250 stores.
