Sunday 26 June 2022
French global creative studio Superbien has announced its expansion into Dubai with the opening of a new office in the city. Inspired by the diversity of cultures of the Middle East, the company said the expansion marks a logical next step in its evolution.
Superbien produces international projects that merge digital and physical environments. Founded in 2007, the Paris-headquartered company specializes in immersive experience design, combining narratives, scenography, video content, and the latest in digital technology to create augmented spaces.
Superbien’s work has included immersive exhibitions for Audemars Piguet at Dubai Watch Week, and for Dior’s presentation of its fine jewelry collection at the Opera of the Palace of Versailles in France.
The company has also produced a digital installation for Air France’s Business Lounge. In addition to these projects, Superbien has worked with clients such as Disney, Huawei, Adidas, Sony, Diesel, L’Oreal, Audi, Google, and Mercedes-Benz, among other global corporations.
Dubai has ranked first in the Middle East and North Africa region and second in the world in attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) in cultural and creative industries in 2021, surpassing other major cities such as New York, Singapore, and Berlin. The ranking is based on the Dubai FDI Monitor report, published by the Dubai Investment Development Agency (Dubai FD), an agency of the Department of Economy and Tourism.
