Engro Corp. opens office in Dubai

To leverage Pakistan’s supply potential to meet GCC demand

Engro Corporation, Pakistan’s business conglomerate, has commenced office operations of its wholly owned subsidiary, Engro Eximp FZE, in the Jebel Ali Free Zone in Dubai.

Engro Eximp will explore potential trading opportunities in the energy, fertilizers, petrochemicals, and food and agriculture sectors. Founded as a fertilizer business in 1965, Engro is one of the largest companies in the country, employing over 2,600 people and operating in a diverse range of businesses under four verticals – food and agriculture, energy and related infrastructure, petrochemicals, and telecommunications infrastructure.

The Dubai office is expected to leverage Pakistan’s supply potential to tap rising demand in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
