Baskin-Robbins opens region’s 1,000th store in Dubai

Baskin-Robbins, the world’s largest chain of ice cream specialty shops, has opened its 1,000th store in the region in Dubai Hills Mall, under master licensee Galadari Ice Cream Company.

Baskin-Robbins serves ice cream across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Morocco, Jordan, and Australia through Galadari.

The food and beverage trade in the UAE crossed USD 20 billion in the first nine months of 2021, according to an analysis by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Imports accounted for the largest share of the UAE’s F&B trade during the January-September 2021 period, amounting to USD 12.8 billion. Exports accounted for USD 4.1billion while re-exports amounted to USD 3.3 billion.
