Walee acquires Dubai’s

Martech firm will use’s AI text and image recognition technology


Pakistan-based marketing technology firm Walee has acquired the Dubai-based, which has developed an artificial intelligence technology that can identify brands and logos in social media content.

Walee will use the technology for its platform focused on influencer marketing. Content creators can use Walee’s platform to connect with multi-channel networks and advertisers. They can also track sales, get paid, and express interest in campaigns they want to participate in.

Walee has 50,000 influencers, 5,000 brands, a reach of 100 million, and the platform operates in more than 250 cities.

Six months prior to the acquisition, Walee received USD 2.7 million in seed funding from Z2C Limited, a multinational company headquartered in Pakistan.
