Italian fine-dining chain debuts gold menu

Bistrot90’s first branch outside Italy launches in Dubai’s Fairmont hotel


Puglia-based Bistrot90, a dining and entertainment concept, has chosen Dubai as the first location for its international expansion. Developed by young restaurateurs, the ‘Made in Italy’ brand offers a combination of “culinary and convivial cultures”. The concept of Bistrot90 has been curated to focus on the experiences of fine dining and entertainment allowing guests to relax, socialize, and celebrate in an exclusive environment.

In Dubai, Bistrot90 has opened at the Fairmont Hotel, with a gold-themed menu, providing patrons a taste of the Mediterranean, with ingredients that include salmon, olives, Sardinian roe, and gold leaf in a creatively designed menu.

The brand’s expansion aims to export and develop this concept in various parts of the world, creating restaurants that, in addition to providing a 360-degree experience of Italian cuisine, offer the customer all kinds of entertainment (international music and fashion shows of the prestigious Italian brands). Plans include a Shanghai opening in 2022-23, followed by Manama in 2025-25, and Miami in 2027-28.

Food and beverage brands from Italy, which enjoys the reputation of being a global F&B powerhouse, enjoy a healthy relationship with Dubai. The 2022 season of Gulfood in Dubai, the world’s largest annual F&B sourcing event, saw 180 Italian companies participate, within the national pavilion led by the Italian Trade Agency, in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in the UAE and the Consulate General in Dubai.
