DIMOS chooses Dubai to globalize operations

Germany’s family business establishes first international branch in Dubai Airport Free Zone

DIMOS Maschinenbau, the Peterberg, Germany-based manufacturer of warehouse and industrial trucks as well as system supplier for the air cargo sector, has chosen Dubai as a key location to help the company internationalize its business.

The company’s relationship with Dubai first began when the manufacturer delivered the first pallet mover to Dubai International Airport. The Dubai office will represent DIMOS’s projects and systems departments comprising technicians, programmers, and sales staff.

DIMOS’s new office can be found in Dubai Airport Free Zone, or DAFZA. In the first half of 2021, DAFZA’s contribution to Dubai’s non-oil foreign trade amounted to 11%. Opening a branch here places DIMOS close to global companies like Aramex and Dnata. Apart from Dubai, DIMOS’s devices are used in California and Japan.
