EKI Energy Services Limited has established a presence in Dubai, the business hub of Western Asia. The expansion for this green consultancy firm based out of Indore, India, is a step up into the global carbon credit trading market. EKI has incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary company named EnKing International FZCO in Dubai's International Free Zone Authority (IFZA).

The strategic move will enable EKI to strengthen operations in the Middle East as it services the climate change ambitions of businesses in the region. The company currently has over 2,500 clients across 40 countries and its offerings include carbon credit/asset management, carbon credit supply, carbon footprint management, sustainability audits, as well as carbon neutrality and climate positive initiatives.

EKI and Shell Overseas Investments B.V. recently announced a joint venture for carbon emission reduction, using nature-based solutions in India.
