Bulgari opens outlet in Dubai Mall

Italian luxury brand is an LVMH Group company

Fashion accessories house Bulgari has opened an outlet in Dubai Mall, representing a milestone for Bulgari MEA. Bulgari is an Italian luxury brand known for its jewelry, watches, fragrances, accessories, and leather goods.

While the majority of design, production, and marketing is overseen and executed by Bulgari, the company does, at times, partner with other entities. For example, Bulgari eyewear is produced through a licensing agreement with Luxottica, and Bulgari formed a joint venture with Marriott International in 2001 to launch its hotel brand, Bulgari Hotels and Resorts, a collection of properties and resort destinations around the world.

Currently part of the LVMH Group, Bulgari was founded in Epirus, Greece, in 1884 as a single jewelry shop that has, over the years, become an international brand. The company has evolved into a player in the luxury market, with an established and growing network of stores.

In 2014, Bulgari celebrated the 130th anniversary of the brand.

Dubai Mall is the second-largest mall in the world by total land area. It has a total retail floor area of 502,000 square meters in Downtown Dubai, adjacent to the iconic Burj Khalifa. In 2011, it was the most visited building on the planet, attracting over 54 million visitors each year.

It also has a 250-room luxury hotel, 22 cinema screens, and 120 restaurants and cafes. The mall also features the Olympic-sized Dubai Ice Rink for recreational skating and to watch the Emirates Ice Hockey League games and the Emirates A380 Experience, an Airbus A380 aircraft simulator.
