Rheem opens manufacturing facility in Dubai

To make line of commercial rooftop HVAC units of 10 to 30 tons

Rheem, a global manufacturer of HVACR and water heating products, has begun the production of commercial air conditioning units in Dubai, creating multiple employment opportunities through a 100% owned and operated business called Rheem MEA Manufacturing LLC.

In the first phase, the firm will manufacture the Renaissance Xcede line of commercial rooftop units, which cover 10 to 30 tonnes.

The products built at this factory will be designed in the USA to Rheem's standard of quality and reliability while meeting the specific market and climate requirements of the GCC.

Opening the new AC commercial products factory is one amongst a series of strategic investments in the GCC. The firm has also established a new headquarters office and opened a state-of-the-art Rheem Innovation Center in Dubai.

Rheem began supplying products in the region in the 1980s and opened its Dubai office in early 2012. The company currently has over 50 employees throughout the GCC.
