VivoPower opens in Dubai to serve MEASA

Picks DMCC as the regional base


VivoPower International has established a subsidiary at the Dubai Multi Commodities Center (DMCC) as it expands to service the Middle East and surrounding markets including Africa and the Indian Subcontinent.

VivoPower is a sustainable energy solutions company focused on electrification solutions for customized and ruggedized fleet applications, and solar and critical power technology and services. The core purpose is to provide customers with turnkey decarbonization solutions that enable them to move toward net zero carbon status.

DMCC has been recognized as the Global Free Trade Zone of the Year for the past seven years in a row by the Financial Times' fDI Magazine. It is also the Government of Dubai's authority on commodities trade and enterprise.

The UAE has announced its Net Zero 2050 Strategic Initiative with AED 200 billion to be invested in clean and renewable energy solutions over the next 30 years.
