AIS opens school in Al Barsha South
Will cater to kids 4 to 17 years after KHDA approval
Saturday 30 October 2021
The Australian International School Dubai has opened its doors in Al Barsha South to kids between the ages of 4 and 17 after receiving approval from the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA).
AIS Dubai had initially planned to offer KG1 to Grade 5/Year 6, prior to opening fully to Grade 12/Year 13. The school then applied for approval to open with an Early Learning Center (including pre-KG equivalent), catering eventually for children from age 4 to 17 on entry, in line with the Australian system.
This is the second AIS school in the UAE. It will open with class sizes of around 15 students, rising as the school establishes itself.
