SportBusiness opens Middle East HQ in Dubai

SportBusiness Group, a leading provider of data, analysis, news, and insight to the sports industry, has announced the next stage in its global expansion with the opening of an office in Dubai.

The new office will be the headquarters for the company’s operations in the Middle East, driving local news and features coverage in this market. The company will also leverage its historic capabilities to embark on bespoke projects and consulting support with local governing bodies, federations, government organizations, and universities in the region.

SportBusiness has served the international sports sector since its launch in London in 1996. The Dubai office becomes the fourth international hub to be launched by the company in the space of three years, following the opening of a US office in 2018 and an Asia office in 2019.

SportBusiness Group is part of the Silva International Investments portfolio that invests in businesses across global sectors including media, sport, entertainment, art, and real estate.

The Dubai hub builds on Silva International’s existing footprint in the region. The Globe Soccer Awards, which celebrate excellence in football and are held annually in Dubai, also sit in Silva International’s investment portfolio.
