Indian online matrimonial portal Matrimony.com has entered the UAE market through its flagship brand BharatMatrimony as part of its strategic expansion plans. The company inaugurated its office at Jumeirah Lakes Towers to serve Indians in the Middle East region.
Matrimony.com, a publicly-listed company, is headquartered in Chennai, India. The company aims to offer matchmaking services and marriage services across the region through its office in the UAE. The brand aims to tap its popularity with Indians from the south of the country to expand its footprint and serve customers in the region. It said that of the two million Indians who live in the region, a majority belong to South India, where BharatMatrimony is well known.
BharatMatrimony has established a considerable retail presence with over 135 self-owned retail outlets across India. Matrimony.com currently offers matchmaking and marriage services to over three million active members across the world.
