EngineStands24’s first operations outside Europe are in Dubai

A new logistics center for the aerospace firm will open in Q1 2019

EngineStands24, a subsidiary of Magnetic MRO, a total technical care, maintenance, and asset management organization headquartered in Estonia, has announced its plans to launch a new engine stands’ logistics center in Dubai to be opened in Q1 2019.

The company said Dubai’s strategic location at the heart of one of the largest aviation markets is a key reason for the decision. The new hub will be located next to Al Maktoum International Airport, enabling the company to deliver engine stands to major world locations within just a couple of days or even hours.

The new hub will store stands for narrow-body aircraft engines, including those for CFM56-5A/B, CFM56-7B, and V2500. The warehouse will be supplemented with a range of wide-body aircraft engine stands. The hub, which is set to start operations in Q1 2019 will become EngineStands24’s fourth location – the first outside Europe. The company is working to establish engine stand hubs in the USA and South East Asia in future.

The Dubai hub complements the company’s upcoming offerings in the region. EngineStands24 offers its clients the industry’s first e-store for lease, trading, logistics, and storage of aerospace engine stands. Customers also have the opportunity to track its stands via an online system.
