Wearable camera company Edesix sets up Mideast base in Dubai

Edesix, a UK-based provider of Body Worn Cameras (BWC), has opened a new Dubai office as it targets the Middle Eastern market for expansion. The wearable camera company, which already supplies to local police force in the UAE, says that it sees the Middle East as a key expanding market for sectors including security, transport, parking, retail, construction and the emergency services.
Company officials have said that BWCs have been proven to help improve the safety of those in public facing roles, whilst producing compelling legal evidence when needed. Its Dubai office is seen as essential in ensuring that the company is at the forefront of the wearable camera market in the region, while providing support our its channel within the UAE and promote its integrated solutions.
Edesix currently supplies key markets across the globe, through direct sales and international partners, to geographies including the USA, UK, Europe, Canada, the Middle East and Australasia.
