UKCBC: London school opens first overseas campus in Dubai
College plans to offer qualifications in business management, computing, travel and tourism, and health and social care in the key global education market
Tuesday 6 March 2018
When the UK College of Business and Computing wanted to spread its wings globally, it set up its first overseas campus in Dubai. Aimed at servicing one of the key global education markets, as part of a broader internationalization strategy, the campus opened in 2018, and will add to its five campuses across London as well as the UK College of English, also in central London.
The college plans to support those taking higher education qualifications and run English language programs for a wider market. UKCBC initially plans to deliver UK Business and Technology Education Council (BTEC) qualifications in business management, computing, travel and tourism, and health and social care, aiming to reach its capacity of around 500 students within the first two years.
The new campus will be located in the Dubai International Academic City, a higher education free zone that already hosts partners such as Hult International Business School, Manipal University, and University of Wollongong among others.
